Eleesa Jacob, Rochester Institute of Technology
“I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to continue to receive this scholarship to support my creative and academic journey. I am looking forward to another successful semester at SVA in the spring! Thank you so much again for the generosity and support throughout my college career!”
Taylor Silver, School of Visual Arts
“I had a great first quarter. I’m pretty much the only first-year in my program who knows how to use the equipment in the print shop, and it feels good to help my classmates out when they need to print their projects. I’ve also been doing work-study in the print shop, so I’ve been meeting the second-years and learning about what they’re up to. In winter quarter, our program’s technical person Ed is going to teach me how to do screen printing, which I’m super excited about. I love school so much. I can’t remember the last time I’ve felt so creative and welcomed.”
Jordan Maier, Seattle Central Community College
