Celebrating Partnerships: Jan Steiner’s Visit to the Women’s Press Collective (WPC)
Jan Steiner, founder of Trade Works USA, recently attended the Women’s Press Collective (WPC) anniversary celebration in New York. Recognized for her support in advancing their mission, Jan took the opportunity to tour WPC’s facility and learn more about their dedication to teaching graphic arts and printing.
The Women’s Press Collective, an all-volunteer organization, empowers underserved communities by providing hands-on design, writing, and printing training. Their work equips individuals with practical skills that support community-based organizations and pave the way for rewarding careers in high-paying skilled trades. Jan’s visit reinforced Trade Works’ shared goal of helping students and individuals discover meaningful career paths in the trades.
During the facility tour, Jan was struck by the passion behind WPC’s mission. The organization’s focus on teaching graphic arts and printing aligns perfectly with Trade Works USA’s efforts to inspire the next generation of skilled professionals. WPC offers students and community members opportunities to turn creativity into sustainable careers by providing access to practical training and resources.
