Zeb Green

Established in 1992

Zeb Green, Jr. and his wife, Winnie, established this scholarship in memory of J. Zeb Green, Sr., the founder of Green Printing Company in 1892. Over the years, Green Printing has grown into a respected, employee-owned company recognized for its excellence in the industry. The company has received numerous prestigious awards and holds a place in the NAPL Management Plus Hall of Fame, a testament to its commitment to quality and innovation in printing.

Beyond his role as a professional printer, Mr. Green, Jr. was a dedicated civic leader with a deep commitment to improving the quality of life in his hometown of Lexington, North Carolina. His involvement spanned numerous organizations, including the Salvation Army, Lexington Merchants, Chamber of Commerce, Lexington United Way, Library Foundation, the Davidson County Community College Foundation, Lexington Memorial Hospital, and the North Carolina Citizens for Business and Industry. In honor of his legacy, this scholarship gives first preference to students from North Carolina and South Carolina who are pursuing careers in the printing and graphic communications industry, supporting the next generation of professionals in the field.
