PGSF is excited to announce our 2019 Poster Contest Winners
This year’s poster winners are:
Holly Maxwell, from Pittsburg State University
John Dreisbach, PGSF Board member and VP of Sales and Marketing at Evergreen Printing Co, said that full-time student Holly Maxwell’s poster provided “a welcoming message…” Maxwell, a nontraditional student, and mother of six children shared: “I get so excited when I get to create something cool! I love that you have opened up this scholarship opportunity to part-time students that are working in the graphics industry!”

Juliette Woodruff, from Pittsburg State University
Full-time student winner, Juliette Woodruff’s poster caught the attention of judge Bill Michael, Cisco. “Several things stood out: the clever use of the CMYK color scheme across the graduation cap, the clean and legible font, the QR code, and the overall tie-in with the printing industry.” Woodruff, who majored in Communication with an emphasis in Strategic Communication and a minor in Graphic Design, shared “ I wanted to show how important scholarships can be to students. The mortarboard cap emphasizes how every little bit of financial assistance can help students achieve their goals of graduating and getting established in careers.”
